University of Marriage 2021 Conference: Welcome Message from RoSGMI Servant Leader, Apostle Folorunso Alakija

I welcome you to our Annual University of Marriage Conference in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our theme for this month is “Fruitfulness”.
In Deuteronomy 7, Moses addressed the children of Israel regarding the commandments and statutes that God had given to them. He encouraged them to adhere to all that God had instructed. He went on to pronounce that as long as they obeyed all of God’s decrees, they would enjoy the blessings that He had made available for them. One of such blessings is fruitfulness.
Deuteronomy 7:14 says, “You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall not be a male or female barren among you or among your livestock”.
In the New Testament, the moment we accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ over our lives and become born-again believers, we are already blessed by God. However, it is our responsibility to enforce all that God has provided for us in Christ. We must, therefore, keep declaring the blessings of God over our lives and that of our loved ones to experience its physical manifestation.
The second thing we should expect as Christians are to be fruitful in our bodies and all our endeavors.
According to Webster’s Dictionary, barrenness means:
· To be sterile (incapable of producing fruit) Without vegetation Unproductive
This informed the decision of our topic for this month, FRUITFULNESS, being the opposite of infertility/barrenness.
A fruitful person is:
· Growing · Increasing · Flourishing · Abounding · And reproducing
This is not referring to a physical state alone. It also includes spiritual, mental, financial, and emotional states.
Are you experiencing any form of barrenness in your life? Do not entertain it any further.
The truth is that the price for your fruitfulness has been paid in full by the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, choose to agree with God’s word and declare that you are fruitful and productive in Jesus Christ. The result may not come immediately, but I encourage you to maintain your confessions with thanksgiving. In the end, death will give way to life and barrenness to fruitfulness.
I decree and declare that very soon your fruitfulness will appear for men to see and they will come and rejoice with you in Jesus’ name.
As usual, our newsletter is full of testimonies, prayers, memory verses, and confessions for your reading and use. Download newsletter here.
Kindly be reminded that our 5th Annual National Crusade is scheduled from Thursday 25th to Saturday 27th November 2021.
Pray, prepare, and plan to attend and invite others as well.
Yours in His Service,
Servant-Leader Apostle Folorunso Alakija
