Our 3-Day monthly fasting and prayers start today. The theme is “New Beginnings in Unity (Isaiah 43:18-19)”.

This evening at 6 pm, we will be praying and breaking our fast. The venue is at the RoSGMI auditorium, 14 Ogunlana Drive Surulere, Lagos.

The prayer session will also be live-streamed on zoom.

1) Thanksgiving: (Psm.150:1-6)

• Sing praises to God for all His mighty acts in your life and family in the last 7 months.
• Thank God for bringing you and your loved ones into this month of new beginnings with no pain or plague.
• Let’s thank God for this special month of new beginnings in unity at RoSGMI.

2) Forgiveness and Mercy: (Mt.6:12, Mt.5:7)

• In this month of new beginnings, Ask God for grace to forgive those who have hurt you
• Now that you have forgiven those who offended you, ask God to pardon all your sins in the name of Jesus.
• Call upon God for His mercy over your life and family this month.

3) Unity and Love: (Acts.2:42-47, Acts.4:32-34)

• Ask God for new beginnings of unity in your family in Jesus name.
• Ask God for a fresh start of unity in RoSGMI and the church of God at large.
• Pray that the agape love of God will radiate in our lives, families and ministry in Jesus name.

4) Protections and Preservations: (Psm.91:1-7, Psm.121:6-8)

• Ask God to preserve you and your loved ones in this month of new beginnings in Jesus name.
• Pray that God will protect every member of RoSGMI and their families from all forms of mishap in Jesus name.
• Ask God to preserve your salvation and everything that gives you joy in Jesus name.

5) Wisdom and Wealth: (Jm.1:5, Deut.8:18)

• Pray that God will give you the wisdom to promote unity in your family and our ministry in Jesus name.
• Ask God to endow every minister and worker at RoSGMI with divine wisdom to move the ministry forward in love and unity in Jesus name.
• Ask God to give you the wisdom and power to make wealth according to His Word in Jesus name.

6) Evangelism and Crusade: (Mk.16:15-18, 16:20)

• Pray that God will take over the evangelism and crusade programmes in RoSGMI for the month of August.
• Ask God to confirm His words from the mouth of His servants with signs, wonders and miracles in Jesus name.
• Pray that God will unite His people for this great assignment and use it to set the captives free, enlarge His kingdom on earth and grow RoSGMI mightily in Jesus name.

7) Personal requests: (Mt.7:7-8)
